Drones being used to detect environmental offenses
In Uzbekistan, employees of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection have begun to detect violations using drones, the committee’s press office reported.

According to them, on August 24, in the Peshku district of Bukhara region, employees of the department for ecology and environmental protection conducted a raid using drones.
As a result, they detained a driver who was transporting reeds in a truck without a permit.
In relation to the violator, a protocol was drawn up under Article 79 (illegal logging, uprooting, destruction or transplantation of trees, shrubs and other plants) of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
