According to the decision of the Council of Aksakals, the candidacy of Amanbay Orinbayev, who was recommended for the post of Chairman of Jokargy Kenes, was approved.
In his speech, Amanbay Orinbayev expressed the existing problems in Karakalpakstan in terms of entrepreneurship development, agricultural sector development, increase of industrial projects, infrastructure development, social protection of the population, education and youth support, and suggestions for their solution.
In 2016-2017, Amanbay Orinbayev, who was the head of the Nukus city DIA, became head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Karakalpakstan MIA in May 2017. From March 2019 to February 2020, he worked as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for maintaining public order, then for two years – the first deputy head of the MIA Public Order Service. In March 2022, he became the Minister of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan.
From July 2022 until now, he has been working as the first deputy of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on issues of ecology and development of coastal regions.
