Admission rate of school graduates announced
104,065 out of 395,299 graduates of the republic were admitted to higher education institutions.
The State Testing Center has published the statistics of admission rates of school graduates to HEIs this year. In the list, the graduates of Navoi region took the lead with 39.9% of results. 5,598 of 13,997 Navoi graduates who applied for admission to universities were accepted as students.
The top three were continued by the graduates of Bukhara region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. 9,139 out of 23,778 graduates from Bukhara (38.4%), and 7,532 out of 23,258 graduates from Karakalpakstan (32.3%) were admitted.
Andijan (6,367 out of 28,524 graduates, 22.3%), Tashkent (7,228 out of 32,601 graduates, 22.1%) and Surkhandarya (6,633 out of 32,534 graduates, 20.3%) regions are at the bottom of the list.
In the section of districts and cities, the graduates of Zarafshan city (Navoi region) showed the highest results. 462 (48.3%) of the 956 school graduates in the city became students.
