Uzbekistan to cooperate with Azerbaijan on protection of industrial property
On September 6, the President signed a decree “On approval of the international agreement” [PQ-369]. In accordance with it, cooperation with Azerbaijan on the protection of industrial property will be carried out.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev signed 18 documents in Tashkent on June 21. These include interregional cooperation, industry, international road traffic, cooperation in combating illegal migration, cooperation in the fields of plant quarantine and protection, agreements on military and military-technical cooperation, and cooperation programs in the field of tourism.
After the entry into force of the international agreement, the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of relevant ministries will ensure the fulfillment of Uzbekistan’s obligations.
A similar document was signed between the governments of the two countries in June 1997.
Also, in 2018, an agreement was signed with the Republic of Belarus in the field of industrial property protection.
