Uzbekistan increases cocoa and chocolate imports
In January-July 2022, Uzbekistan imported 24,200 tons of cocoa and chocolate from 41 foreign countries.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of cocoa and chocolate imports increased by 1.5 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
Major suppliers of cocoa and chocolate to the market of Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
- Russia - 17.4 thousand tons
- Turkey - 1.3 thousand tons
- Ukraine - 991 tons
- Kazakhstan - 886 tons
- Netherlands - 702 tons
- Poland - 474 tons
- China - 458 tons
- Belarus - 187 tons
- Germany - 181 tons
- Italy - 101 tons
- Spain - 84 tons
