Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China sign tripartite agreement on construction of railway
A tripartite agreement on cooperation on the construction of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China railway was signed within the framework of the SCO summit in Samarkand.

It is noted that the implementation of the project will expand the geography of trade and transportation from China through Uzbekistan to Europe and to the Persian Gulf states through the Southern Corridor.
