The stolen gas is enough to supply 2,000 households in one month of the winter season.
In August, 2022, the state of natural gas usage in CNG filling station belonging to “B.E.M.” LLC, located in Navoi city, was studied, the press service of “Khududgaz Navoi” gas supply branch reported.
During the study, a suspicious situation was observed when checking whether the electronic gas metering equipment belonging to the organization was working appropriately through a modem. The gas meter was removed in the prescribed manner, subjected to an expert examination. It was identified that the configuration of its gas metering equipment was modified.
According to estimates, 1,363,892 m3 of gas was illegally consumed in the “methane-station”. This amount of gas is enough to supply 2,000 households in one month of the winter season. The supply company lost 1 billion 363 million soums.
On the above fact, relevant protocols were drawn up and all materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies.
