Finnair intends to operate flights to Uzbekistan from Scandinavian countries
The Finnish air carrier plans to serve tourists, as well as deliver goods to the country.

Finnair is interested in organizing regular flights to Uzbekistan, Spot reported with reference to the press service of the Transport Ministry.
Timo Koskinen, head of the government relations department, spoke about the plans of the Finnish airline. He discussed the topic with representatives of responsible authorities, including the Ministry of Transport and Uzbekistan Airports.
According to Koskinen, Finnair intends to launch direct flights primarily for tourists from the Scandinavian countries wishing to visit Uzbekistan.
The air carrier intends to operate passenger flights on the basis of code-sharing with Uzbekistan Airways. In addition, the launch of air cargo transportation to the republic is being considered.
Ulugbek Bektashev, head of the air transport development department, on behalf of the ministry, expressed support to Finnair in organizing air traffic.
