Gov’t allows senior students of medical institutions to work full-time
In the first stage, from October 1, 2022, and in the second stage, from November 1, 2022, students will be employed in vacant positions.

In accordance with the relevant decision of the government, in the 2022/2023 academic year, as a trial in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent:
• Senior students of all medical higher education institutions studying in the faculties of “Treatment work”, “Pediatric work” and “Medical-prophylactic work” can work full-time as family doctors, emergency medical doctors and doctors in sanitary departments;
• Students of master’s degree and clinical internships of all medical higher education institutions, republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers and the Center for Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers can work full time.
Students of all levels studying in the faculties of “Treatment work”, “Pediatrics work” and “Medical-prophylactic work” will master the theoretical part of subjects and practical training remotely.
The Ministry of Health will determine the need for doctors and in the first stage, from October 1, 2022, in the Surkhandarya region, and in the second stage, from November 1, 2022, in all regions, students will be employed in vacant positions.
