Turkey remains major importer of Uzbekistan’s polyethylene
In January-August 2022, Uzbekistan exported 177,000 tons of polyethylene to 20 countries for $187 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of polyethylene exports decreased by 36.2 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Major importers of Uzbekistan’s polyethylene during the reporting period:
- Turkey - 61 thousand tons
- China - 35 thousand tons
- Latvia - 32 thousand tons
- Russia - 23 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 15 thousand tons
- Great Britain - 3.8 thousand tons
- Georgia - 2.5 thousand tons
