Gov’t clarifies procedure for assigning pensions to labor migrants

Information on the cases, in which work abroad is counted in the total length of service, has been clarified.

The relevant information was published by the News of Public Services Telegram channel.

Periods of work abroad are added to seniority under the following conditions :

for the period until January 1, 2019 - when paying insurance premiums to the off-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance;
for the period after January 1, 2019 - upon payment of a single social payment.

The fact that citizens of Uzbekistan work abroad on a contract basis is determined on the basis of entries made in the work book by the authorized state bodies.
