Nearly 4 thousand divorces registered throughout Uzbekistan in Sept 2022

In September 2022, 3,839 cases of divorce were registered in Uzbekistan.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure has increased by 477 compared to the same period last year.

The number of divorces by region:

- Karakalpakstan R. - 178
- Andijan region - 409
- Bukhara region - 181
- Jizzakh region - 119
- Kashkadarya region - 210
- Navoi region - 110
- Namangan region - 354
- Samarkand region - 310
- Surkhandarya region - 219
- Syrdarya region - 159
- Tashkent region - 456
- Fergana region - 516
- Khorezm region - 147
- Tashkent city - 471

Over the nine months of the current year, 34,464 divorces were recorded in the republic. This is 1.4 divorces per 1,000 population.
