Uzbekistan's population surpasses 37 million, growing by 1.8 thousand daily
Since the beginning of the year, the population of the country has grown by 334.5 thousand people.

According to data from the Statistics Agency, as of July 1, 2024, Uzbekistan's permanent population reached 37 million 134.2 thousand people.
This marks a 2.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
The republic is home to 18 million 437.5 thousand women and 18 million 696.7 thousand men. The urban population stands at 18 million 940.4 thousand people, while the rural population is 17 million 193.8 thousand people.
It is noted that since the beginning of the year, the population of the country has grown by 334.5 thousand people, increasing by an average of 55.7 thousand people each month and by 1.8 thousand people every day.
