Uzbekistan may grant access to prisoners to use Internet
In specially equipped rooms, prisoners will be able to use the Internet to receive a number of services.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs published on the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services a draft law on amending the internal regulations of penitentiary institutions.
According to the document, convicts held in penitentiary institutions will be allocated a separate room for using electronic public services, including notary services.
This room will be equipped with a webcam and computer equipment connected to the Internet.
The discussion of the project will last until November 9.
