Samarkand airport to temporarily close
From 8 to 11 November this year, the Samarkand airport will temporarily suspend its work.

According to Uzbekistan Airports, Samarkand will host the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States on November 8-11, in connection with which the international airport of the city will temporarily suspend its work and stop serving flights.
The decision applies to both passenger and cargo flights.
The OTS summit in Samarkand is expected to be attended by the heads of state and governments of the member countries.
