A group of Uzbek students studying in the third year of the Crimean Federal University named after V. I. Vernadsky sent a video message to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on social networks.

According to the statement of the State Commission No. 7, it was allowed to exceptionally transfer the studies of Uzbek citizens studying in higher education institutions in Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov and Krasnodar regions of the Russian Federation (bordering Ukraine) to state higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

“Unlike the mentioned regions, the Crimean territory is also heavily involved in military operations and taking into account the large number of explosions there, it would be fair to take out the students studying in Crimea. We have already applied to many places. In particular, we have not received any positive response on our appeals to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don of the Russian Federation,” the report reads.

For information, on October 11, Uzbek students studying at Russia’s Kursk State Medical University in the region bordering Ukraine appealed to Shavkat Mirziyoyev with a request to transfer their studies.
