Individuals trying to circulate counterfeit $8,300 detained in Tashkent

The State Security Service and the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes prevented the introduction of counterfeit bills into circulation, the department’s press service reports.
It was reported that citizen F.Kh. was caught with material evidence when he sold counterfeiter $8,300 to citizen E.I. for $4,150. Also, Yashnabad district department found out that citizen A.K. sold counterfeit $500 to D.P., who is working in the “G.B.” hotel, for 5.2 million soums.
Besides, the Yangiyul city department, in cooperation with the National Guard officers, during the pre-investigation check, discovered that citizens D.A. and M.Kh. purchased items from the “K.I.” LLC and presented the seller D.A. 2 units of counterfeit 50-dollar banknotes for the purchase made in the city dekhkan market. When the lawbreakers were detained, law enforcers seized counterfeit $300 from them as material evidence.
