Uzbekistan increases export of fruits and vegetables
In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan exported 1.4 million tons of fruits and vegetables to foreign countries for $903.3 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure increased by 192 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
The volume of fruits and vegetables exported in the 10 months of 2022:
- fruits and berries - 297 thousand tons
- dried fruits and berries - 35.7 thousand tons
- vegetables - 733 thousand tons
- onions - 185.4 thousand tons
- cabbage - 135.2 thousand tons
- tomatoes - 65.8 thousand tons
- grapes - 181 thousand tons
- raisins - 64.4 thousand tons
- peanuts - 15.6 thousand tons
- watermelon and melon - 134.3 thousand tons
