Tram returns to capital

As UzA reported, during the President’s visit to France, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Citizens Abroad on the project of the Tashkent tram system.

According to the document, the tram system in Tashkent will be designed by a French transport company with extensive experience in this field. It is planned to lay 3 tram routes.

First of all, design work will begin on laying a tram line to the “New Uzbekistan” park.
