Law enforcement bodies prevent circulation of potent drugs in regions
12,000 Tramadol tablets, secretly buried by Kazakh drug couriers, were discovered in the Kyzylkum desert of Uchkuduk district, Navoi region.
A 34-year-old person living in Turtkul district was arrested as a result of the rapid search activities conducted by employees of the Karakalpakstan SSS Department in cooperation with the Republican Customs Department in order to identify the real owner of these drugs.
At the same time, there are also cases of illegally bringing potent drugs to our country from the Kyrgyz Republic. For example, when a Nexia car moving on the “Fergana-Kokand” route was stopped and inspected in the territory of Altiarik district, 2,803 units of Regapen and 1,000 units of Tropikamid were found among the luggage belonging to the passenger, a 33-year-old resident of the city of Kokand, who had been convicted several times before.
In addition, in another operative event, a 35-year-old dentist living in Zangiota district was found to be illegally storing 1,960 units of Regapen in his private clinic in Almazar district.
When the passenger said that he bought these psychotropic drugs from a 24-year-old resident of Fergana district for 50 million soums, he was also arrested.
1,050 units of Regapen and 101 units of Tropicamid were taken from the house of another person from Fergana.
It is noted that, at the moment, criminal cases have been instituted under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigations are being carried out.
