Police detain Samarkand resident who promised to send a citizen to the USA for $25,000
The plan was to send the citizen to the United States through Mexico.

Law enforcement officers detained a 28-year-old resident of Samarkand who promised a man help with departure to the United States through Mexico. He demanded $25,000 for his service.
While receiving $10 thousand of the agreed amount, the offender was detained.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
