Better Cotton Initiative planning to open a representative office in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan’s Chargé d'affaires in Sweden Nodir Ganiyev met with Lena Staafgard, Chief Operating Officer at Better Cotton Initiative.

During the talks, the Better Cotton Initiative’s plans to develop cooperation with Uzbekistan, to help the country’s cotton-textile clusters organize cotton cultivation at the level of world standards were discussed, Dunyo news agency said.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of trade and economic cooperation, prospects for increasing the export of textile products to Sweden.
Lena Staafgard announced that the Better Cotton Initiative is planning to open its representative office in Tashkent in order to strengthen relations with Uzbek partners.
