Prevention inspector commits suicide in Fergana
He shot himself in the head with a service weapon but survived; he is in a coma.
The incident happened in the Tashlak district of Fergana. On December 5, the senior lieutenant, after night duty, did not arrive at the police department for a morning briefing and did not answer phone calls. He was later found injured in a Spark car parked by the canal.
According to the Fergana region DIA, he shot himself in the head with a service weapon.
The wounded inspector was taken to the nearest hospital and placed in a coma.
During the pre-investigation check, it turned out that earlier the inspector lost 45 million soums on the sweepstakes. The debt was repaid, and disciplinary measures were taken against him. It is noted that the man was under the control of the disciplinary council at the regional police department.
Currently, the case is under investigation.
