Health Ministry officials provide “no comment” on sale of cancer hospitals
The sale of 3 oncology hospitals in Tashkent caused objections, will the decision be reconsidered? Why is the government’s decision on this hidden? Officials of the Ministry of Health said that they could not answer this question of the Kun.uz reporter.
“Processes are underway in this regard. It is a complicated process as you say. That is why discussions are going on in this regard. We are not ready to answer this question today. We do not have a chance to give a clear answer now,” Deputy Minister Elmira Basitkhanova said at the press conference held today, December 9.
It should be recalled that the government of Uzbekistan has decided to sell the land and buildings of the Republican Oncology Center and its branches in Tashkent city and Tashkent region. But these decisions are not publicly announced anywhere.
When the public learned about it from the auction announcements, serious objections arose.
