Starting from Tuesday, December 13, the price of Ai-80 gasoline will be reduced from 6,800 soums to 5,700 soums at Uzbekneftgaz stations. The company confirmed this information to Kun.uz.
The price decrease is due to the exemption from excise tax on the import and sale of Ai-80 gasoline in the current energy crisis.
According to Kun.uz source in the energy system, the relevant presidential decision has been made in this regard. It states that the temporary procedure for excise tax will last from December 10, 2022 to March 1, 2023.
In addition, the procedure regarding the sale of oil and gas condensate to producers by the extractive organizations, regardless of the organizational and legal form, was canceled.
Based on the decision, until April 1, 2023, the Neftgazinspektsiya and the Electrical Energy Control Inspectorate, as an exception, were allowed to investigate business entities in cases of illegal and inefficient use of energy resources without consulting the Business Ombudsman (without interfering in their financial-economic activities).
Based on the results of the inspections, these inspections make submissions to the relevant bodies regarding the punishment of the officials and the legal assessment of their activities.
