“It is high time to reform Uzbekistan Airways” – Shavkat Mirziyoyev
At a meeting with the participation of Uchtepa district activists, the President touched on the activity and future of Uzbekistan Airways.
“The company should be free, open and competitive. Now there are about 30 aircraft in its fleet. It is necessary to increase the number of planes, improve the quality of services, reduce prices and be competitive not only on domestic flights, but also on international routes. Of course, the company can buy a plane, but it must be exploited efficiently.
Airlines will be free and open. A cheap and safe airline will be established as expected by our people,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
