President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Riyadh for Arab-Islamic summit

On November 11, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for an official visit to participate in the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit.

Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Riyadh Province, and other senior officials.

The summit, which gathers key Arab and Islamic leaders, will focus on urgent regional issues, including efforts to quickly de-escalate the tensions in Gaza and Lebanon.

The primary objective of the summit is to discuss diplomatic and political solutions to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
