Number of enterprises with foreign capital operating in Uzbekistan exceeds 15 thousand

According to the State Statistics Committee, the number of firms increased by 2,389 compared to the corresponding period last year, with Russia having the highest number of enterprises in the republic (3,055), followed by Türkiye (2,171), China (2,115), Kazakhstan (1,235) and the Republic of Korea (919).

In addition, this year (from January to November) 842 enterprises were opened with the participation of Russian capital, 331 – with Turkish investment and 245 – with Chinese investment. The figures for Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea were 174 and 79, respectively.
