Uzbekistan changing procedure for pension calculation

From January 1, 2023, the upper limit of the average monthly salary accepted for calculating pensions is increased from 10 to 12 base calculating amount of pension.

The Pension Fund explained the meaning of this change.

According to the new regulation, the pensions of pensioners whose average monthly salary is higher than 3,240,000 soums, taken into account when assigning pensions, will be recalculated.

The Pension Fund reminds that the amount of pensions is automatically recalculated, and pensioners do not need to contact the Pension Fund.

It is noted that the Fund sent an SMS message in December to all pensioners whose average monthly salary is more than 3 million 240 thousand soums.
