Head of Bulakbashi district gas supply department detained

According to a Kun.uz correspondent, the head of the Bulakbashi district gas supply department was detained on the night of December 15.

He was accused of creating conditions for the theft of natural gas.

According to the press service of the Andijan regional prosecutor’s office, a case has been initiated under Article 167 (theft by embezzlement) of the Criminal Code.

The prosecutor’s office said that other persons involved in this case were also detained.

Reportedly, the investigation is being conducted by employees of the Bulakbashi district prosecutor’s office.
