Criminal cases initiated against officials working in field of energy supply in seven districts of Surkhandarya

According to a Kun.uz correspondent, there were detentions in Muzrabat, Sherabad, Uzun, Kizirik, Sariasiya and Denau districts.

Among the detainees are the heads of power supply companies, their deputies, warehouse manager, chief engineer, engineer and accountant.

In particular, the head of the electricity supply company in Muzrabat district, despite having an overdue debt in the amount of 263.7 million soums, did not disconnect the legal entity from electricity.

The head of the power supply company of the Sherabad district revealed violations for 487 million soums, but did not provide documents to law enforcement agencies for action. Similar violations were committed by the head of the electricity supply company in the Uzun district.

Cases have been initiated against the detainees under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
