Number of children admitted to family kindergartens to be increased to 50

At a meeting of the Legislative Chamber, the draft law “On amending the Law on preschool education and training” in connection with the expansion of the network of preschool education organizations and an increase in the share of the non-state sector in the field” was considered.

It was noted that currently no more than 25 children of preschool age are allowed to be brought up and trained in family non-governmental organizations of preschool education, which hinders the increase in the involvement of children in preschool education and training.

This document amends the law “On preschool education and upbringing”, aimed at increasing the number of children accepted for education and upbringing in family non-state preschool educational organizations, up to 50.

The adoption of the bill will serve to further expand the activities of family non-governmental organizations of preschool education and increase the level of coverage of children with preschool education and upbringing.
