Uzbekistan increases potato imports
In January-November 2022, Uzbekistan imported 478.3 thousand tons of potatoes from 16 countries for $73.4 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, potato imports increased by 22.5 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the country imported potatoes mainly from the following countries:
- Pakistan - 259.1 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 155.1 thousand tons
- Kyrgyz R. - 30 thousand tons
- Russia - 15 thousand tons
- The Netherlands - 6.4 thousand tons
- Iran - 5.6 thousand tons
In January-September 2022, Uzbekistan cultivated 2.6 million tons of potatoes.
