Cadaster and state reserves are also part of the Economy and Finance Ministry structure. State Statistics Committee was transformed into the Statistics Agency and transferred from the government to the President. The cinematography agency was given to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Uzarkhiv agency was given to the Ministry of Justice. The Family and Women’s Committee was subordinated to the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment.
According to the presidential decree, starting from January 1, 2023, the organizational subordination of 24 state administration bodies will change.
Committees:
• The State Statistics Committee is being reorganized in the form of the Statistics Agency and is being transferred to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• The State Tax Committee is being reorganized as a Tax Committee and transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;
• The State Customs Committee is reorganized in the form of the Customs Committee and transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;
• The State Reserves Management Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;
• The Cadaster Agency under the State Tax Committee is being transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;
• Defense Industry State Committee is reorganized in the form of Defense Industry Agency and transferred to the Ministry of Defense;
• The Committee on International Relations and Friendly Relations with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism;
• The State Forestry Committee is being reorganized in the form of the Forestry Agency and is being transferred to the Ministry of Natural Resources;
• The State Committee for Family and Women is being reorganized in the form of the Family and Women’s Committee and is being transferred to the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment;
• The State Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry is being reorganized in the form of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and is being transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture;
• The Committee for the Development of Silk and Wool Industry is being transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Agencies:
• Agency of Youth Affairs is being transferred to the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports;
• The Presidential Educational Institutions Agency is being reorganized in the form of the Specialized Educational Institutions Agency and is being transferred to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education;
• The cinematography agency is being transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
• Uzarkhiv agency is being transferred to the Ministry of Justice;
• Space Research and Technologies Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the Ministry of Digital Technologies;
• The Cultural Heritage Agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is being transferred to the Culture and Art Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers;
• The Agency for the Development of Mahallabay Work and Entrepreneurship is being transferred to the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment;
• Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency – tasks and functions related to the registration of medicines and medical devices are being transferred to the Ministry of Health, and the agency itself is being transferred to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade;
• Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency is being transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Inspections:
• The State Inspectorate for Control in the field of information and telecommunications is being transferred to the Ministry of Digital Technologies;
• The control of the safety of water management facilities under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the state inspection – the Ministry of Water Management;
• The inspection of control over the Agro-industrial complex under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Also, the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers is being transferred to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
