More than 30 iPhones imported from abroad confiscated in Tashkent region
Allegedly, the detainees attempted to hide the phones under the car seats and take them away.

In Tashkent region, 570 million soums worth of mobile communication devices hidden under seats were discovered, the press service of the regional Customs Department reports.
It is noted that an operative event was held in Akhangaran district.
According to the information received during the operative event, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinte vehicle driven by a civilian in the “Fergana-Tashkent” direction was stopped, and when it was inspected in the presence of impartial parties, it was found out that there were foreign-made mobile communication devices, worth about 568,968,000 soums, hidden under the front seats of the car.
It is noted that there were 37 phones in total. Among them, 36 iPhone 14 plus, 13 Pro and 1 Samsung S22 Ultra mobile phones were found and seized as material evidence.
Currently, an investigation is underway in connection with the above situation.
