Expert provides information about possibilities of using other cough syrups that are sold in Uzbekistan
Currently, experts are studying the composition of the Dok-1 Maks syrup and all other syrups sold by Quramax Medical. At the same time, other syrups are also sold in pharmacies.
The representative of the Health Ministry, Sevara Ubaydullayeva, during an AIMC briefing, said that when taking any medicine, one should consult a doctor.
“If your child is sick, then contact the family doctor, the clinic, the pediatrician or call the ambulance service. Because doctors know the composition of the drug. They will prescribe treatment based on the child’s condition, age and weight,” she said.
Sevara Ubaydullayeva stressed that without a doctor’s prescription, one should not take various medicines.
“If your child has a cold, diarrhea or fever, see a doctor right away or call an ambulance,” she said.
The expert also reminded that children need to drink more fluids. Children under the age of 5 should drink at least 1-1.5 liters of water per day.
For example, one liter of boiled water can be mixed with a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt. Drinking water will help reduce body temperature, there will be no kidney failure. In addition, it will help cleanse the body of toxins and viruses.
