Minister of Health instructs pharmacies to stop the sale of all QURAMAX company drugs
Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov’s letter of instruction to stop the sale of QURAMAX drugs in Uzbekistan was circulated on social networks. The ministry confirmed the authenticity of this letter to Kun.uz.
In the letter, the Ministry of Health issued an instruction to all pharmacies in Uzbekistan to stop selling QURAMAX drugs.
According to it, the quality control and standardization laboratory of medicines carried out in-depth quality control of Doc-1 Max and Ambronol medicines, as a result of which inconsistency with the content specified in the normative document was found. Some series of these drugs have been found to contain propylene glycol.
Reportedly, on December 29, 2022, a lawsuit was filed with the Tashkent city court to cancel the registration certificates of Doc-1 Max and Ambronol drugs.
“Taking into account the above, the sale of all medicines brought into the territory of Uzbekistan by the QURAMAX LLC in 2022 must be stopped,” the document reads.
