18.5 thousand cases of unauthorized land acquisition detected in 2022
Over the past year, 6307 hectares of land were arbitrarily seized in 18,597 cases across the republic, the information service of the Cadaster Agency Nemat Otamurodov reported.

The bodies of the cadastral department issued warning letters to persons who committed offenses on 18,389 (6,157.5 hectares) of land, of which 9,927 (4,957.8 hectares) were returned by citizens on a voluntary basis.
It is noted that in 2,135 cases (15,130.4 ha) of land misuse were identified, in 1,919 cases (14,099.7 ha) submissions were made to local governors.
In 179 cases (3,716.6 ha), land plots were returned to the reserve of district administrations, in 216 cases (1,030.7 ha), direct claims were sent to the courts.
