Uzbekneftgaz plans to buy oil from Petronas Çаrigali of Turkmenistan this year.
This issue was discussed at the meeting held in Tashkent between the management of Uzbekneftgaz JSC and the delegation of Petronas Çаrigali. The parties agreed to prepare a delivery program.
Petronas Çаrigali is one of the operators of oil and gas production on the Turkmenistan shelf of the Caspian Sea. It is a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Petronas Oil and Gas Company.
Earlier, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan for the first time reached an agreement on short-term gas supply through bilateral negotiations without the participation of a third party.
