SSS provides information on the criminal case initiated against Human.uz director 

The State Security Service provided official information on the criminal case opened against Human.uz website director Khurshid Daliev and others.

It is reported that the SSS initiated the case on the appeal of citizen I.A. 

The website employees are accused under Article 165, Part 2, Paragraph "v" of the Criminal Code (extortion committed by a group of persons in a conspiracy). A preliminary investigation is currently underway.

“During the investigation, the participants of the proceedings were provided with a lawyer. Their rights and freedoms as defined by the law are guaranteed during the investigation process. Additional information will be provided soon,” the SSS said.

The official report did not specify the number of suspects and their positions.

According to the legislation, if the accused are found guilty of this article, they can be imprisoned for 5 to 10 years.
