More than 423 thousand tourists visited Uzbekistan in January 2023

In the past month, 423,700 foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes.

According to the Statistics Agency, the figure increased by 254.1 thousand people or 2.5 times compared to the corresponding period of last year.

During the reporting month, citizens of the following countries visited Uzbekistan the most:

- Tajikistan – 139.6 thousand people
- Kazakhstan – 116.6 thousand people
- Kyrgyz R. – 103.2 thousand people
- Russia – 41.9 thousand people
- Turkey – 6.7 thousand people
- South Korea – 2.4 thousand people
- Turkmenistan – 2.3 thousand people
- India – 1.1 thousand people
- Azerbaijan – 0.7 thousand people
- Belarus – 0.7 thousand people
- USA – 0.6 thousand people
- Germany – 0.5 thousand people
- France – 0.3 thousand people
- Great Britain – 0.4 thousand people
- China – 0.4 thousand people
