Uzbekistan to introduce a system of online registration of new motor vehicles and issuing number plates
At the meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was criticized that it is still necessary to go to the Department of Traffic Safety Service to register cars and get a number plate.
“More than 300,000 customers buy new cars annually. However, it is still necessary to go to the Department of Traffic Safety Service to register and get a number plate,” the President said.

The Ministry of Digitization, together with relevant ministries and administrations, was tasked with implementing the following:
- integration of 26 information systems on electronic services provided to citizens and entrepreneurs with the Single Portal;
- increasing the number of services provided through this portal from the current 370 to 570;
- introduction of online state registration and numbering system of new motor vehicles;
