President Mirziyoyev arrives in Astana for Central Asia–China summit
On June 17, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The visit was announced by the press service of the Uzbek head of state.

Upon arrival at the capital’s airport, President Mirziyoyev was welcomed by Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and other senior officials.
During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the “Central Asia–China” summit and hold talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China.
