Shavkat Rahmonov becomes First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs

The head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Namangan region Colonel Shavkat Rahmonov has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

Rahmonov will now head the Operational Investigation Department.

Prior to his appointment, he served as head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Namangan region. Before that, he headed the Internal Affairs Directorate of Samarkand region.

Major General Shukhrat Sobirov, who worked as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, has been dismissed from office. Information about his future activities is not available yet.
