Statistics Agency provides data about number of tourists to Uzbekistan in Jan-Feb 2023

Over the past two months of the year, about 871 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes.

This is more by 544 thousand people or 2.7 times compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistics Agency.

The list of countries whose citizens visited Uzbekistan the most during the reporting period:

- Tajikistan - 289.2 thousand people
- Kazakhstan - 241.4 thousand people
- Kyrgyz R. - 211.2 thousand people
- Russia - 81 thousand people
- Turkey - 13.4 thousand people
- Turkmenistan - 4.8 thousand people
- South Korea - 4.4 thousand people
- India - 2.4 thousand people
- Ukraine - 1.7 thousand people
- Azerbaijan - 1.7 thousand people
- Belarus - 1.6 thousand people
- China - 1.6 thousand people
- USA - 1.4 thousand people
- Germany - 1.3 thousand people
