Taxpayers refunded over 2.8 trillion soums of VAT in Jan-Feb 2023

In January-February of this year, 1,377 organizations on 1,681 applications were reimbursed 2,803.2 billion soums of VAT, the Telegram channel Fiskal tahlilar reported.

Regions with the largest VAT refunds:

- IRI for large taxpayers – 1,494.3 billion soums (37 organizations);
- Tashkent – 393.8 billion soums (295 organizations);
- Tashkent region – 229.6 billion soums (126 organizations);
- Kashkadarya region – 139.1 billion soums (41 organizations);
- Fergana region – 131.8 billion soums (151 organizations).

Industries with the largest amounts of VAT refunded:

- production – 1,669.7 billion soums (445 organizations);
- trade – 345 billion soums (284 organizations);
- agriculture – 339.7 billion soums (234 organizations);
- construction – 183 billion soums (82 organizations);
- transport services – 138.7 billion soums (151 organizations).

Compared to the same period last year, the amount of VAT refunded is higher by 188.8 billion soums.
