By a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, amendments and additions were made to the regulation on the interaction of traffic police officers with road users and the procedure for using special devices.
According to the changes, traffic police inspectors, along with breathalyzers, will use a drug tester - a special device to determine the presence of narcotic or psychotropic substances in the driver's body.
Drivers will be tested by determining the concentration of ethanol vapor in the air emitted from their mouth or the presence of narcotic or psychotropic substances in the saliva.
The document was published in the national database of legal documents and entered into force on March 28.
