Cases of illegal use of gas were recorded mainly in Bukhara, Fergana and Jizzakh regions.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, in 559 cases, illegal use of 79 million cubic meters (76.3 billion soums) of natural gas by wholesale consumers was detected in March this year.
Cases of illegal use of gas are mainly identified:
— in Bukhara region - 24.3 million cubic meters (24.2 billion soums);
— in Fergana region - 19.3 million cubic meters (19.3 billion soums);
— in Jizzakh region - 9.9 million cubic meters (10 billion soums);
— in Samarkand region - 10.1 million cubic meters (8.5 billion soums);
— in the city of Tashkent - 7.1 million cubic meters (7.1 billion soums).
Cases of illegal use by consumer category:
— in 22 cases, in CNG filling stations (41.7 billion soums);
— in 17 cases, in greenhouses (1.1 billion soums);
— in 90 cases, in other production enterprises (asphalt, lime, gypsum, porcelain products, bakery products) (24.9 billion soums);
— in 54 cases, in public catering establishments (1 billion soums).
The formalized documents related to the identified cases were sent to the law enforcement agencies in the prescribed manner.
