PGO comments on the tragedy that happened in Sergeli
The PGO provided information on the case of a woman who killed her three children and then committed suicide in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city.

Tashkent city prosecutor’s office is conducting a preliminary investigation on the case of a woman who killed her three children and then committed suicide in Sergeli district. The Prosecutor General’s Office informed about it.
At the same time, the PGO urged not to interfere with the objective and impartial investigation.
“Regarding the circumstances related to the incident, inquiries are being conducted on various social networks, and information about the personal life and honor of the deceased person and his close relatives is being distributed in the mass media with different interpretations. This information hinders the objective and unbiased conduct of the investigation.
Based on the requirements of the Criminal Procedural Code, it is prohibited by law to distribute information about a person and interfere with the investigation while investigative actions are being carried out,” the appeal reads.
The Prosecutor General’s Office called on the mass media and social network users not to share information about the tragedy and not to discuss the private lives of citizens until the investigation is completed.
It was said that further information will be provided about the result of the investigation.
