Uzbekistan hands over 8 special wagons to Kazakhstan for transportation of convicts
Special wagons were manufactured by the Tashkent plant in accordance with the specifications of the National Guard of Kazakhstan.

The Tashkent Plant for the Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars JSC manufactured 8 new passenger wagons designed to transport people, in respect of which the court determined a measure of restraint in the form of detention or punishment involving deprivation of liberty (under investigation, convicts), Uzbekistan Railways JSC reports.
The wagons were manufactured in accordance with the specifications of the National Guard of Kazakhstan, as well as according to the projects and regulatory documents of the leading specialists of the Tashkent Plant for the Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars JSC.
The wagons have already been delivered to the city of Astana and handed over to the customer.
It is noted that the design of these wagons includes additional modern equipment. In particular, they are equipped with an air conditioning system, equipment for the disinfection of drinking water and air, a dry closet, a video surveillance device, door status alarms, and so on.
Currently, joint projects for the production of new special cars are also being considered in order to further develop interaction between the two countries.
